The group has been working together for three years now. Their album entitled “Borderlands” is a result of the creative joining of forces of two seemingly different worlds, a gipsy wedding band on one side and highly educated contemporary musicians well versed in jazz, popular styles and classical music on the other.

 TONI BIO
Born in Skopje, 1964. Toni started his musical education with Dragan Gjakonovski - Spato in 1979. From 1986 till 1990 he was the leader of the trio “Spato”, performing numerous concerts, radio and TV appearances as a trio as well as many solo performances. Composes / arranges concerts for the MBUC chamber orchestra, music for the dance orchestra of MRT. Records soloist materials for WDR in Cologne, Germany.
1988 - 1990 guitarist for the dance orchestra of MRT.
1990 - 1997 study stay in the USA.

 ALEKS BIO
Born and living in Macedonia. Receives his education and diploma at the Musical Academy in Sofia ,,Pop & Jazz Department,, - instrument-drums. The following year receives his PHD diploma on the Jazz Department at the American University in Sofia. Works and is actively involved with the modern music scene on the Balkans.
He's working with musicians from the Pop and Jazz scene, studio engagements, theater music etc.
Specializes in Jazz in Italy with Ron Savage at the
Berklee College of Music.
